urban land institute - impact eco wrapped award
We created these beautiful handcrafted custom awards from 100% recovered Douglas Fir wood sourced from a demolished building in British Columbia, Canada. The building was constructed in the early 1900's and demolished in 2015. The result is a stunning eco friendly and sustainable custom award design that can be appreciated for many years to come.
Recovered Douglas Fir , recycled aluminum

Size - 305mm H (12”) x 62mm W (2.5”) x 62mm D (2.5”)
Weight - Approximately 1kg (2.2 pound)
- We source our wood from local timber yards that only sell recovered and reclaimed materials
- Aluminum is 100% recyclable
- Aluminum has a lower melting temperature than other metals (less energy required to create/recycle)
- Anodizing uses less product to create a coating as opposed to painting or powder coating. Additionally, over spray or post painting clean up (solvents) is not an issue with anodizing.
